A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE TWENTY-SIXTH REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2006-2007:
1. To be expended by the department of accounting and general services:
A. Kawananakoa middle school, Oahu
Electrical upgrade $ 425,000
Auditorium plumbing and electrical 1,350,000
Renovation of the music building 350,000
Total Funding $2,125,000
B. Stevenson middle school, Oahu
Renovation of administration building $ 250,000
Parking lot improvement 280,000
Air conditioning 3,500,000
Total Funding $4,030,000
C. Lincoln elementary school, Oahu
Wall repair and drainage improvements $ 300,000
Building structural stabilization 300,000
Air conditioning 3,500,000
Total Funding $4,100,000
D. Pauoa elementary school
12 bathrooms - repair and reconstruction $1,800,000
Total Funding $1,800,000
E. Nuuanu elementary school
Roofing repair and maintenance $ 61,000
ADA transition accessibility 280,000
Air conditioning 3,500,000
Total Funding $3,841,000
SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2006.
