A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

making an appropriation for the university of hawaii community colleges.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $2,264,033 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2005-2006 for the electricity costs of the community colleges in the University of Hawaii system as follows:

(1) Honolulu community college $63,551

(2) Kapiolani community college $332,908

(3) Leeward community college $178,832

(4) Windward community college $253,008

(5) Hawaii community college $850,000

(6) Maui community college $542,941

(7) Kauai community college $42,793

The sum appropriated shall be expended by the University of Hawaii system for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2005.
