The purpose of this informational briefing is to receive a report from the state Public Utilities Commission (PUC) and ICF Consulting regarding Hawaii Revised Statutes, Chapter 486H, more commonly known as the Gasoline Price Cap Law. The PUC has been examining the issues and requirements contained in Chapter 486H, which is scheduled to take effect September 1, 2005, and has retained the services of ICF Consulting to assist in this proceeding.
