Report Title: Hawaii Rx Plus Program
Description: Amends statutory provision relating to the Hawaii Rx program based on the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling on the Maine Rx program on which Hawaii Rx is modeled, to: (1) address the concerns of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to protect access of medicaid clients to the prescription drugs they need; (2) prevent loss of prescription drug benefits to employees covered by employer-sponsored drug benefit plans; (3) address the concerns of pharmacies and drug manufacturers; (4) conform the rebate process to chapters 91 and 92; and (5) rename the program as Hawaii Rx Plus.
