| Description: | Establishes an executive salary commission to review the salaries of the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor, the department heads of the Executive Branch, executive officers (other than the president of the University of Hawaii and the Superintendent of Education), and the deputy department heads, which are currently set by statute. Provides for the salary determinations of the commission to take effect at the beginning of the next fiscal year unless rejected by the Legislature by three-fourths vote of the members of each house of the Legislature. |
