| Description: | Amends the amount of time a judge can order a minor detained for committing an act constituting a petty misdemeanor to the maximum of 30 days. Amends the amount of time a judge can order a minor detained for committing an act constituting a misdemeanor to a maximum of one year. Provides that when probation includes incarceration in a youth correctional facility, the incarceration shall be for a term not to exceed six months for committing an act constituting a misdemeanor. Provides that when probation is ordered in cases where the act committed constituted a petty misdemeanor, the term of incarceration shall not exceed 30 days. |
