A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

Making an Appropriation for the Hawaii health systems corporation.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the following sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2003-2004, and the same sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2004-2005, to provide for additional personnel in the emergency rooms of the Hawaii health systems corporation's Kona community hospital and Hilo medical center:

Kona community hospital $        

Hilo medical center $        

TOTAL $        

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of health for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2003.
