Measure Title: RELATING TO HOME AND COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES.
Report Title: Community Care Foster Family Homes Licensing and Regulation (Act 273, SLH 2001); Department of Human Services ($)
Description: Extends the community care foster family home demonstration projects established by Act 273, SLH 2001, until June 30, 2004. Appropriates $65,000 from the criminal history record improvement revolving fund for fiscal year 2003-2004 for criminal history record checks for operators of community care foster family homes regulated under such projects. Requires the Department of Human Services to report to 2004 Legislature on the cost-effectiveness and administration of the certification process for community care foster family homes and possibility of integrating or consolidating community care foster family homes with adult residential care homes (ARCHs).
