Description: Increases the membership of the Hawaii Tourism Authority, and assigns the responsibility to market, operate, manage, and maintain the Hawaii convention center facility to the HTA. Increases, the transient accomodation tax rate by 1 per cent for every increase of 500,000 visitors over 7,500,000 until the tax rate is 10.25 per cent.
