Measure Title: RELATING TO VICTIMS OF CRIMES.
Report Title: Victims of Crimes; Bill of Rights
Description: Adds a provision in chapter 657 (statutes of limitations) that would toll the statute of limitations for victims of crimes of violence, sex crimes, and certain other crimes, until the perpetrator of those crimes is released from the jurisdiction of the court (released from prison, parole, or probation). Adds a provision to the Hawaii Victim's Bill of Rights that complements the new provision in chapter 657. (HB2427 CD1(A))
