A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE thirteenth SENATORIAL DISTRICT.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. The director of finance is authorized to issue general obligation bonds in the sum of $ , or so much thereof as may be necessary, for fiscal year 2002-2003, for the following capital improvements in the 13th senatorial district:

1. Nuuanu Elementary School Multipurpose Building

A new multipurpose building to house administration office, meeting rooms, and classrooms. Building will also function as a community meeting facility for the city and county of Honolulu to be matched by the city and county of Honolulu.

Total funding $          

SECTION 2. The sum appropriated for the capital project set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the department of accounting and general services for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2002.
