A BILL FOR AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE twenty-first SENATORIAL DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The director of finance is authorized to issue general obligation bonds in the sum of $18,289,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, for fiscal year 2002-2003, for the following capital improvements in the twenty-first senatorial district:
1. Nanakuli IV
Equipment for archeological mitigation.

2. Nanakuli High and Intermediate School
Feasibility study on replacing or renovating existing PE facilities.

3. Leihoku Elementary School
Build new administration and library building and renovate existing structure into classrooms.

SECTION 2. The sum appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1, with the exception of items 8 and 9.A., shall be expended by the department of accounting and general services for the purposes of this Act. The sum appropriated for items 8 and 9.A. in section 1 shall be expended by the department of transportation for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2002.
