A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

RELATING TO THE HAWAII STATE PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. This Act is recommended by the governor for immediate passage in accordance with section 9 of article VII of the Constitution of the State of Hawaii.

SECTION 2. Act 259, Session Laws of Hawaii 2001, is amended by amending item G-8 of section 3 to read as follows:

SECTION 3. The amended appropriation shall be expended for fiscal year 2001-2002 by the department of education.

SECTION 4. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.

SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
