A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

relating to dental health.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. The dental health division of the department of health shall report to the legislature no later than twenty days before the convening of the regular session of 2003 on:

(1) How to better serve the covered population statewide;

(2) What current problems exist within the dental health division that hampers its ability to service the neighbor islands; and

(3) Appropriate legislation to provide a more comprehensive dental health plan for Hawaii residents.

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
