A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO CAPITOL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SEVENTEENTH REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal 2002-2003.
1. To be expended by the Department of Accounting and General Services:
A. Queen Lydia Lili'uokalani Elementary School, Oahu
Plans, design and construction of additional parking stalls and site improvements.

Total Funding $150,000
B. John H. Wilson Elementary School, Oahu
Plans, design, construction and equipment for library extension to meet minimum standards, to include but not limited to, telecommunication and electrical power upgrades, air conditioning and site improvements.

Equipment $75,000
Total Funding $335,000
C. Kalani High School, Oahu
Design, plans and construction to renovate two classrooms in Building E.

D. Kaimuki Middle School, Oahu
Design, plans, construction and equipment to renovate computer lab and upgrade electrical power for telecommunications equipment.

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2002.
