A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

RELATING TO THE HAWAIIAN HOMES COMMISSION ACT, 1920, AS AMENDED.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. The Hawaiian Homes Commission Act, 1920, as amended, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:

"§ . Blood requirement for homestead leases. After a homestead lease has been awarded, the department shall not thereafter require persons holding the homestead lease to show proof that they meet the blood requirements under this Act."

SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
