Description: Mandates substance abuse assessment/treatment program for all inmates in correctional centers and facilities who are alcohol or drug dependent or otherwise in need of substance abuse treatment and monitoring. Requires community-based supervision and treatment for offenders convicted of nonviolent drug possession offenses and probationers and parolees at risk of revocation from continued drug use.
