                     A BILL FOR AN ACT

RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE
   FORTY-SECOND REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:


 1      SECTION 1.  The following sums, or so much thereof as shall
 
 2 be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are
 
 3 hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of
 
 4 Hawaii for fiscal year 2000-2001.
 
 5 1.  To be expended by the department of accounting and general
 
 6 services:
 
 7      A. Kapolei Public Library, Oahu, Hawaii

18      SECTION 2.  The sums appropriated for the respective capital
 
19 projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the
 
20 designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
 
21      SECTION 3.  The appropriations made for capital improvement
 
22 projects authorized in this Act shall not lapse at the end of the
 
23 fiscal biennium for which the appropriation is made; provided

 1 that all appropriations which are unencumbered as June 30, 2002,
 
 2 shall lapse as of that date.
 
 3      SECTION 4.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2000.
