                   A  BILL  FOR  AN  ACT
RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE 43RD REPRESENTATIVE
   DISTRICT.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 1      SECTION 1.  The director of finance is authorized to issue
 
 2 general obligation bonds in the sum of $20,701,049, or so much
 
 3 thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2000-2001, and the
 
 4 same sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary is appropriated
 
 5 for fiscal year 2000-2001, to fund the following projects in the
 
 6 43rd representative district:
 
 7      1.   Nanakuli IV Elementary School
 
 8                Furniture                         $ 750,000
 
 9      2.   Nanakuli Elementary School
 
10                Landscaping                       $  22,000
 
11                Parking/Lights                       50,000
 
12                Fence/Gates                          50,000

 4      SECTION 2.  The authorization to issue the general
 
 5 obligation bonds under this Act shall lapse on June 30, 2003.
 
 6      SECTION 3.  The sums appropriated shall be expended by the
 
 7 department of accounting and general services for the purposes of
 
 8 this Act.
 
 9      SECTION 4.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2000.
