The Senate Committee on Health and Human Services will hold an
informational briefing to discuss the findings and
recommendations of the Hawaii Patients' Bill of Rights and
Responsibilities Task Force created pursuant to Act 178, Session
Laws of Hawaii 1998.  Scheduled to appear before the Committee is
Insurance Commissioner Rey Graulty.  Chairs of the sub-committees
created by the Hawaii Patients' Bill of Rights and
Responsibilities Task Force will be available to provide
additional comments about the findings and recommendations of the
Task Force.

A question and answer period for legislators will follow this
presentation.  Questions from the public may be asked by writing
such questions on index cards.  The Chair will ask these
questions, time permitting.

NO TESTIMONY, EXCEPT THAT OF THE INVITED PRESENTERS, WILL BE
ACCEPTED.

interpreter, wheelchair accessibility, or parking designated for

to the hearing so arrangements can be made.

Public Folder.  A folder labeled "Public Folder" containing the
