HB 32         RELATING TO AGRICULTURE                              ECD, JDC
HD2 SD1       Defines "industrial hemp".  Allows privately-funded
(SB1248)      industrial hemp research to be conducted in Hawaii under
           certain conditions and requires department of public safety
           to monitor research.  Exempts agronomic data derived from
           research from disclosure under chapter 92F, HRS. 

HB 138        RELATING TO AGRICULTURAL GOODS                       ECD, JDC
HD2 SD1       Provides ownership and certification requirements for
           agricultural goods and commodities. 

HB 1622       RELATING TO INTOXICATING LIQUOR                      TIA, JDC
HD1           Allows a brewer of beer to hold an interest in both a
(SB 1002      liquor manufacturer's and liquor wholesaler's
SD1)          license.

HB 212        RELATING TO DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF           TIA, JDC
HD1           INTOXICATING LIQUOR
(SB 660       Imposes a mandatory minimum consecutive jail sentence
SD1)          of 48 hours and not more than 30-days and a mandatory fine of
           $500 upon any person convicted for DUI who operated or
           assumed actual physical control of a vehicle with a
           passenger, in or on the vehicle, who was less than 18 years
           of age.

HB 8          RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLE DRIVER LICENSING           TIA, JDC
HD1 SD1       Prohibits the use of a social security number as an

HB 167        RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLE DRIVER LICENSING           TIA, JDC
HD3 SD1       Establishes driving curfew for all minors under
(SB 1169      eighteen, with exceptions; requires proof of behind-
SD1)          the-wheel driving training for driver's license applicants;
           requires a driver education course for permit applicants; and
           authorizes license revocation for minors for certain traffic
           violations.
