                     A BILL FOR AN ACT

RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE
   FIFTIETH REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:


 1      SECTION 1.  The following sums, or so much thereof as shall
 
 2 be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are
 
 3 hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of
 
 4 Hawaii for fiscal year 1999-2000.
 
 5 1.  To be expended by the department of education:
 
 6      A.  Enchanted Lake Elementary School, Oahu
 
 7           Construction, correction of fire code violations, and
 
 8           upgrades to elementary school.
 
 9           Construction of a new play ground           50,000
 
10           Expansion of parking lot                    50,000
 
11           Electrical Upgrade                         100,000
 
12           Total funding                              200,000

14      B.   Ka'elepulu Elementary School, Oahu
 
15           Improvements to computer lab, erosion control, and
 
16           library improvements.

12      SECTION 2.  The sums appropriated for the respective capital

14 designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
 
15      SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 1999.
