NURSING SHORTAGE

The purpose of the informational briefing is to receive testimonies from the Hawai'i State Center for Nursing and representatives from the healthcare community relating to higher education nursing shortage legislation.  The following is invited to participate:

     Mr. Rich Meiers, President and CEO, Healthcare Association of Hawai'i

     Mr. Vincent Lee, Regional CEO-Oahu, Hawai'i Health Systems Corporation

     Dr. Mary G. Boland, Dean, School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene, UH Manoa

     Dr. Nancy Johnson, Chair, Allied Health Unit Maui Community College

     Dr. Katherine "Kay" Daub, Chair, Nursing Department, University of Hawai'i at Hilo

     Ms. Nancy McGuckin, Instructor, School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene, UH Manoa

There will be a Good Morning reception to meet the health care participants at 9:00 AM.
