The joint informational briefing focuses on development of a creative media industry in Hawaii, with updates on the progress made by the Academy for Creative Media-University of Hawaii, use of Hawaii's film/TV production and investment credits, and infrastructure-workforce and development needs of this emerging industry.

Guest panelists will cover various segments of the industry, and provide industry insights on what's needed to grow the industry locally:
