A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO PERINATAL CARE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Act 248, Session Laws of Hawaii 2006, is amended by amending section 3 to read as follows:
"SECTION 3. There is appropriated out of
the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of [$400,000] $200,000
or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year [2006-2007] 2007-2008,
to establish a pilot perinatal clinic and provide case management services.
The sum appropriated shall be expended by the [John
A. Burns school of medicine university clinical educational and research
associates program at the University of Hawaii department of obstetrics,
gynecology, and women's health] department of human services for the
purposes of this Act."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2007.
