FOR THE PURPOSES OF RECEIVING TESTIMONY AND DISCUSSION, THE COMMITTEE WILL BE CONDUCTING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE FOLLOWING BILL (WHICH REFLECTS ITS CURRENT CONTENTS AND INSERTION OF NEW LANGUAGE IN A PROPOSED AMENDED FORM):

SB 1280 SD1 RELATING TO SMALL BOAT HARBORS. WLU, FIN

(SSCR 2831) Requires an investigation by the Senate Economic Development and

Technology Committee of the Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation.

 

PROPOSED

SB 1280 SD1, HD1 ADD:

Implements a 35 % increase in boating moorage fees beginning 7/1/02

with annual 5% increases through 7/1/06, and by administrative rule

beginning 7/1/07. Authorizes an adjustment to moorage fees for

commercial boats.

A COPY OF THE BILL IN PROPOSED AMENDED FORM WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC INSPECTION
