Repeals the traffic enforcement demonstration project.

RELATING TO THE TRAFFIC CODE.

Sets maximum speed limits for state freeways and through highways.

RELATING TO TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT.

Provides that no conviction for a violation of speeding initiated by the use of a photo speed imaging detector system shall appear on a person's record, unless it is for driving 25 mph more than the posted speed limit.

RELATING TO PERSONAL TRANSPORTATION.

Adds definition of "electric personal assistive mobility device" to laws regulating county vehicular tax, highway safety, used motor vehicle parts and accessories, statewide traffic code, used motor vehicle tire recovery, and motor vehicle lemon law.

HB 2584

RELATING TO CONCESSIONS ON PUBLIC PROPERTY.

Authorizes the Director to extend revocable permits for concessions beyond the current one-year limit if extensions are necessary in light of a statewide emergency, such as a natural disaster, or in the event of economic conditions which would adversely affect the State's ability to solicit and obtain favorable bid proposals.
