RELATING TO RESIDENCY OF POLICE OFFICER APPLICANTS. Allows police office applicants to be nonresidents upon application but requires them to establish residency upon employment.

RELATING TO PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS. Maintains a fair public works bidding process by clarifying that the provisions of chapter 104 apply regardless of whether prevailing wage, overtime, and other requirements are stated in a contract or specifications, and that omission from a contract cannot be used as a defense by a contractor who is found in violation.
