Allows the Director to certify that new or amended administrative rules, policies, standards, guidelines, ordinances, executive orders, directives, or provisions in a collective bargaining agreement are in place, and that the effective dates of the repeal of existing statutes and administrative rules or the effective dates of new statutes and administrative rules shall be the date of certification for a specific jurisdiction. |

RELATING TO TEMPORARY HEALTH INSURANCE FOR UNEMPLOYED PERSONS. Clarifies Act 6, Third Special Session Laws of Hawaii 2001, regarding reimbursement of payments. Specifically provides that the expenditure of money appropriated shall be for the period beginning after September 11, 2001 and ending on June 30, 2002 or when the money runs out, whichever is sooner. |
