RELATING TO CHILD PROTECTION. Establishes guidelines for the court in determining release of information related to cases involving a missing child. (SD1) Requires written findings of clear and convincing evidence to support a conclusion by the court that a permanent plan is warranted in child protective hearings. Requires notification to parents if a child is taken into protective custody. Requires a report to the court if a permanent plan hearing is not heard within six months of the initial petition. Requires an interview with the child's family in preparation of a report to the court. (HD1) |
