RELATING TO CONVEYANCE TAX.

Changes the percentage of the conveyance tax designated to the natural area reserve fund from 25% to 12 1/2% and designates 12 1/2% of the tax to homeless assistance programs under part IV of chapter 201G. Also establishes a homeless assistance trust fund.

RELATING TO PUBLIC ASSISTANCE.

Requires an unmarried minor parent without a high school diploma who is under age 18 to maintain a 70% attendance record at school to receive TANF assistance.

RELATING TO HUMAN SERVICES.

Establishes a state-funded food assistance program for income-qualified immigrant children and immigrants 65 years-of-age and older ineligible under federal law for food stamps. Appropriates funds.

RELATING TO DETERRING AND PENALIZING FINANCIAL ABUSE OF ELDERS AND DEPENDANT ADULTS.

A bill to deter and punish the abuse of elders and dependent adults.

RELATING TO MEDICAL CARE PAYMENTS.

Requires the Department of Human Services to reimburse all health care providers the same Federal medical assistance percentage (FMAP) and enhanced Federal medical assistance percentage that the State receives as determined under the Social Security Act.

Abolishes office of youth services. Transfers youth correctional facility to the judiciary.
