RELATING TO THE TREATMENT OF INTRAFAMILIAL CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE.

Establishes a dedicated source of funding and appropriates funds for the treatment of intrafamilial child sexual abuse.

RELATING TO DOMESTIC ABUSE PROTECTIVE ORDERS.

Authorizes the use of a copy, facsimile telecommunication, or other reliable reproduction of a domestic abuse protective order to be used in lieu of the original order for any and all purposes for which the original order could be used.

RELATING TO FAMILY COURT.

Authorizes family court to issue orders relevant to the liberty and support of either party or a party's child when issuing a protective order.

Appropriates $250,000 to the department of human services for the Maui Adult Day Care Center.

Requires, by audit, residential care homes (not long term facilities) to appropriately disperse personal needs funds.

RELATING TO GENERAL EXCISE TAX.

Exempts non-profit organizations from the general excise tax that prepare meals for the elderly and aged and are hired by charitable organizations like the Meals on Wheels Program.

Increases the personal needs allowance from $20 to $30 plus additional changes yearly based on COLA increases or decreases.

Establishes a temporary income tax credit for a taxpayer who pays one hundred per cent of the cost of the taxpayer's employee's health insurance premiums.

Defines substantial reduction or elimination of direct patient care services under section 323F-31, HRS.

Expands the types of credentials that may be substituted for domiciliary, experiential, educational, and examination requirements by an applicant for independent bill reviewer licensing.
