RELATING TO GASOLINE. Requires DBEDT to establish and publish each quarter a maximum wholesale gasoline price in the State based on the average price of crude oil prices in four markets. Prohibits major oil companies from charging more than this maximum price to retailers. Imposes civil penalties. |

RELATING TO PETROLEUM. Requires wholesale sellers of petroleum products to report quarterly to the attorney general regarding gross profit and loss statements for the previous quarter. Requires the attorney general to review these reports and bring appropriate legal action as necessary, including antitrust actions. |
