RELATING TO NEW CENTURY CHARTER SCHOOLS. Specifies that the Auditor shall consider allocations made by the DOE to schools in the current fiscal year in determining the amounts to be allocated to charter schools in the same fiscal year. Authorizes the BOE to revoke charters if schools are found to be in violation of applicable laws, after the submission of a compliance plan and the expiration of a period to achieve compliance as determined by the BOE. |

RELATING TO NEW CENTURY CHARTER SCHOOLS. Exempts existing public schools (i.e., conversion schools) from the twenty-five-school limit on the number of schools that may be established as new century charter schools. |
