Removes sunset of Health Insurance Reimbursement Act; clarifies that a notice to a provider of a denied or contested claim is not required if the entity provides a monthly reimbursement report to the provider; requires entity to provide to providers a system to verify enrollee eligibility; limits the requirement of paying interest for interest accruals of at least $2; defines "clean claim". RELATING TO DENTAL INSURANCE.

Allows the Insurance Division to continue to protect Hawaii's consumers from insolvent dental insurers by extending the "drop dead" of Act 132, SLH 2001, to July 1, 2003; provides that actions taken under Act 132 shall continue until the conclusion of the complaint. (SD1)
