RELATING TO HAWAII HURRICANE RELIEF FUND. Effectuates the transfer of the balance of the Hurricane Reserve Trust Fund from the Hawaii Hurricane Relief Fund to the general fund. Immunizes the State, the Hawaii Hurricane Relief Fund, and its officers, agents or employees from liability arising out of any actions relating to the transfer of any moneys from the Hurricane Reserve Trust Fund to the general fund. |

Requires HHRF to develop and implement a two-year pilot program to provide grants to residential property owners for installation of HHRF-approved wind damage mitigation devices that lessen the probability of property loss from strong winds. When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for submittal.
