RELATING TO THE INCOME TAX CREDIT.

Provides the mechanism for the legislature to authorize a tax refund under Article VII, section 6, of the State Constitution.

RELATING TO THE INTEGRATED TAX INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS ACQUISITION BY THE DEPARTMENT OF TAXATION.

Appropriates funds to assist the Department in its efforts to meet the obligations of the integrated tax information management systems performance-based contract.

RELATING TO GENERAL EXCISE TAX ON NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.

Simplifies the application process for nonprofit organizations seeking exemption from the payment of GE taxes and reduce the filing burden for these organizations.

RELATING TO THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY TAX.

Provides for a sharing of the public service company tax revenues with those counties that establish an exemption from real property tax for public service companies.

RELATING TO THE GENERAL EXCISE TAX.

Requires the department of taxation to work with the United States government and develop a system to enforce the collection of GET from U.S. mainland contractors working in Hawaii on federal projects requiring the payment of GET. Requires report to the legislature on necessary proposed legislation.
