Establishes a permanent drug court in the first circuit court, and appropriates money for drug treatment programs for incarcerated inmates and parolees, and boot camp programs for the treatment of drug offenders. (KANNO)

Expands the drug court program in Maui county to rural areas of Maui, including any drug treatment and rehabilitation programs connected with the drug court.

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT SERVICES.

Appropriates funds to DOH for specialized substance abuse treatment services for pregnant women and families involved with child protective services who have children under five years of age, for men, and for teenagers, provided that funds are matched by private or federal sources. RELATING TO CORRECTIONS.

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A SENTENCING SIMULATION MODEL.

Appropriates matching funds to continue the sentencing simulation project.
