MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE WORKING GROUP.

Appropriates money to support the continued efforts of the Domestic Violence Working Group in examining the criminal justice response to domestic violence, identifying problems, and proposing, facilitating, and coordinating the implementation of effective solutions. (KANNO)

RELATING TO CRIMINAL HISTORY.

Prevents inadvertent repeal of crime victim compensation fund by adding reenactment language to law that was amended by law amending the crime victim compensation special fund, and scheduled to "drop dead". (BUNDA)

RELATING TO THE RIGHTS OF VICTIMS.

Amends the bill of rights for crime victims by amending the definition of "major developments" to include unfitness to stand trial, transfer to the state hospital or other psychiatric facility, or regaining fitness to proceed. Allows state supervision and enforcement of funds or property held for charitable purposes. Authorizes the Attorney General to establish and maintain a register of charitable trusts and organizations and to protect the interests. (BUNDA (BR))

When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for submittal.
