RELATING TO THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OF HAWAII.

Continues the three-year buyback provision until December 31, 2004 (at which time the buyback period returns to ten years).

RELATING TO RESIDENTIAL LEASEHOLDS.

Places direct responsibility of payment of lessor's costs upon the lessees when an abandonment of eminent domain proceedings by the Housing and Community Development Corporation of Hawaii is due to a lessee's inability, failure, or refusal to comply with statutory provisions or to purchase the leased fee interest condemned.
