About Senator Jarrett Keohokalole

Senator Jarrett Keohokalole is a proud seventh-generation resident of the 24th Senate District, including Kāne‘ohe and Kailua.

He serves on the Senate Leadership team as an Assistant Majority Whip. He is the Chair of the Commerce and Consumer Protection Committee (CPN), which is responsible for business regulation, including insurance, banking, telecommunications, public utilities, licensing, and consumer protection.

He also serves as a member of the Hawaiian Affairs (HWN) and Health and Human Services (HHS) Committees, and is the Co-Chair of the Native Hawaiian Caucus.

Sen. Keohokalole received a B.A. from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa and a law degree from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii. He is married to his wife Ku‘ulani and, together, they have three children.

REMINDER: Likelike Highway Full Closures Continue

The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation continues full closures of the Honolulu-bound Likelike Highway from the H-3 split through the Wilson Tunnel on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Motorists are advised to use the Pali Highway or H-3 as alternate routes, drive cautiously, and follow posted signs. Special duty officers will be on-site to assist.

A new scam is targeting Hawaiian Electric business customers, with fraudsters threatening to disconnect service and sending fake QR codes for payment. Hawaiian Electric urges all customers to stay alert—never pay with QR codes or cash, and always verify suspicious calls.
